What is a Super WiFi Mesh and how does it work?

Our Super WiFi Mesh adds a whole new dimension to your current WiFi by expanding it's signal across the house without compromising speed. Wherever you are in your house, our Super WiFi will reach you and that's a guarantee. Never have to worry again about working from home as our pods will boost efficiency in mobile phones, laptops, Netgem TV or tablets. Don't be tempted to take too many breaks from work though!

The benefits provided are as follows:

• Your WiFi connection is distributed between your Main Pod and your Secondary Pod(s), thus reducing network congestion
• Improves your WiFi coverage by placing the Secondary Pod(s) in areas that have weaker connection strength
• Reduces connection loss when moving devices around in your home, as each Secondary Pod acts as a WiFi distribution point and uses the same network name as your Main Pod
• Allows more devices to be added to your network without a drop in performance

You may check your network's connectivity status by accessing your Netgem TV Mobile app and navigating to the 'My Super WiFi' section.

There are two types of WiFi Pods to be set-up:

• Main Pod
• Secondary Pod(s)

Please Note: The WiFi Pods provided are identical

How does it work?

The Main Pod is connected to your Internet Router via an ethernet cable and will relay the Wi-Fi connection to the nearest Secondary Pod(s) or devices that are within range.

The Secondary Pod will receive the Wi-Fi connection from either the Main Pod or the nearest Secondary Pod and will act as a Wi-Fi distribution point (much like an Internet router). This helps in expanding the Wi-Fi coverage in your home, so that the Wi-Fi strength improves, in areas that were previously out of range.
